Before the French Revolution, the land at TrotteVieille belonged to Jean Laveau, the owner of Ch\u00e2teau Villemaurine (a Saint-\u00c9milion Grand Cru Class\u00e9). In 1841, Isambert, a lawyer and the owner of Ch\u00e2teau L’Evangile in Pomerol, acquired the property.<\/p>\n

During the 2000s, \u00c9mile Cast\u00e9ja and Philippe Cast\u00e9ja launched Vieille Dame de TrotteVieille, the Second Wine of Ch\u00e2teau TrotteVieille. As from the 2010 vintage, the Second Wine\u2019s name changed to Dame de TrotteVieille<\/p>\n
