A closely-knit team…<\/span><\/h2>\n

During the 1980s, Philippe Cast\u00e9ja took over the management of TrotteVieille. He formed a team of six at the ch\u00e2teau – three in the offices and three on the production side.<\/p>\n

Christophe Dussutour, who has been Estate Manager since 1999, works in close partnership on a daily basis with cellarmaster Val\u00e9rio Mortari, who arrived in 2018. Elena Nguyen joined the team in 2023 to develop wine tourism at the Ch\u00e2teau.<\/p>\n

Since 2011, in order to perfect its wines, the Cast\u00e9ja family has called on the services of Thomas Duclos, an \u0153nologist and shareholder in Oenoteam, a wine consultancy and analysis laboratory. Thomas works closely with the teams and supports Ch\u00e2teau TrotteVieille in its evolution.<\/p>\n

For the last fifteen years, the team has also called on the services of Val\u00e9rie Lavigne, a lecturer and researcher at Bordeaux\u2019s Faculty of \u0152nology and a teacher at Bordeaux\u2019s CIVB.
